Welcome to our District

Archer District is located on the south side of the Brisbane River and stretches from Salisbury in the North to Browns Plains in the South and from Algester in the West to Kuraby in the East.   

Our most recognisable geographical feature is Archerfield Airfield and this is reflected in our badge. (more information about our badge can be found on the History page)

The District is made up of six Scout Groups:

• Algester Group
• Browns Plains Group
• Robertson Group
• Salisbury Group
• Sunnybank Group
• Warrigal Group (located at Kuraby)

Through these Groups we provide a program of scouting activities for both male and female members from the age of 6 through to 26 in the following sections:

Joey Scouts           -   6    to   8 years
Cub Scouts            -   7    to 11 years
Scouts                   - 10    to 15 years
Venturer Scouts    - 14    to 18 years
Rover Scouts         - 17    to 26 years
Leaders & Adults   - 18 years and older
